Welcome to Our Happy Place
In fact, as children, we were regularly dragged into them by our mothers, who sewed and apparently had an unlimited amount of time to spend choosing between 47 nearly identical shades of blue.
Somehow, those long childhood trips planted a seed. While we weren’t paying attention, we were learning. We learned to appreciate beautiful fabrics, that fabric has personality. That the right print can make you ridiculously happy. That there is, in fact, a difference between cream, ivory, off-white, ecru, and approximately 16 other colors that look exactly the same to everyone who doesn’t sew. And we learned that making something with your own hands is pretty darn special. What once seemed like an eternity now feels like a pretty wonderful inheritance.
We’re a mother-daughter team, inspired by the women who taught us. Our goal is to create a shop that feels welcoming, inspiring, and maybe just a little bit dangerous for your fabric stash.
Our mission is simple: to create a fun, welcoming place where you can find beautiful fabric, discover inspiration, talk about projects, start new ones, finish old ones (we won’t judge), and possibly develop a completely unreasonable attachment to a particular print.
We’re here for the quilters, the garment makers, the sewists, the beginners, the perfectionists, the “I-have-no-idea-what-I’m-
Welcome. You’re among friends.
